The Seahawks are 2-8, if my memory serves me correctly and ever since they were 2-4 I've heard rumblings about how Seahawks fans should root for the Seahawks to lose the rest of their games and obtain a high draft pick.  I consider this notion in the same realm as Holmgren should resign and Hasslebeck should be cut, but since its grown exceedingly popular.  I have decided to address it.

ll be closer than most think.

Eagles over Niners: This one will be a real battle...of futility.

Seahawks over Packers: You still don't bet against the Seahawks at home, 32-8 at home since 03

There was a column a few days ago in the Houston Chronicle that made a very compelling argument concerning the Texans and Head Coach Gary Kubiak. The crux of the opinion was based on a comparison with the early stages of Coach Kubiak’s career and that of Jeff Fisher of the now Tennessee Titans. It asked us to be patient, with Kubiak and brought up some interesting truths.

It is two weeks in to the 2008 NFL season, and the Seahawks are 0-2 for the first time since 2002. In week one, they were flat out beat by the Buffalo Bills on the road. That loss was ugly, but it was the first game of the new campaign, it was on the east coast, and they were banged up.

So as you probably know by now, week 4 is the Seahawks bye week. Your fantasy football team will be defined by your play when you have star players on their bye week. Hopefully you planned for bye weeks when you drafted your team and are able to just substitute in players from your bench without having to pick up any players off waivers or free agency. However, if you did not plan for bye weeks, here are a few things you can do.

Week 2 has arrived!!! We got the rust dusted off of us in Buffalo. Now we get the 49's... Please, a cake walk, they could not even stop the little red birds at home...so what makes them think they can

e Rams still don’t care.  I’m just happy the Cardinals and Forty-Niners are in the Seahawks’ division.  Al Davis is on death’s door…and Mike Shanahan still hates him.  And that Eddie Royal looks like this year’s Marques Colston. Thank you Captain Obvious

I first heard of the notion of the NBA having its officials influence games fifteen years ago in Sam Smith's legendary book "The Jordan Rules". In the 1990 playoffs the Bulls had taken a 3-0

In the next 3 months, the Seahawks searched vigorously for a player who could step in and explode off the edge. The 'Hawks found the man they were destined to sign and he was a physically gifted 6-5 270 lb. pass rusher named Patrick Kerney. Kerney signed a 6 year, $39.5 million contract and he recorded 14.5 sacks in his first season. Ever since the

Most of us thought that a running back would be the first priority for the Seahawks coming into the NFL draft. But then the Seahawks drafted veteran running back T.J Duckett. Most people scratched thier head on this move, and so did I. But soon after the Duckett signing came an even bigger one. Ex Cowboy Julius Jones, now the Duckett move made sense. The

So the Seahawks are finally addressing their running back situation.

As much as I love Shaun Alexander for what he has done for the Seahawks and Mo Morris for filling in and helping out, I know they are not that effective anymore.

The Seattle Seahawks offseason has been anything but spectacular.  The signing of Mike Wahle, an old veteran guard recently released by the Panthers, is the highlight of the Hawks offseason.  Wahle is one of Holmgren’s guys from his days in Green Bay so he believes he will get the same out of him in Holmgren’s last year as head coach.

The Seahawks need a seam-splitting, pass-catching TE so Matt Hasselbeck can truly take advantage of the full range of mismatches the west coast system offers. After the Jerramy Stevens my-arms-are-too-long-to-catch-footballs-and-I-am-a-headcase bust, and the Marcus Pollard I-have-low-miles-but-they-left-me-in-the-garage-for-a-reason failure, their options are free agency, the draft, or... bust.

The Seattle Seahawks have, in my opinion, solidified there season run to the championship with a great win against the Washington Redskins.  The Redskins had played on pure emotion from the time their teammate died and it finally caught up to them.
