Great moves, big mistakes;

This offseason has been a rocky one for many Seahawk fans. Some moves were great, some were.... well lets just leave it as not so great. Time is the only thing that will tell if this offseason was a productive one or not. Here are some of the moves I am buzzing about.

The running game was obviously a problem coming into the offseason. Most of us thought that a running back would be the first priority for the Seahawks coming into the NFL draft. But then the Seahawks drafted veteran running back T.J Duckett. Most people scratched thier head on this move, and so did I. But soon after the Duckett signing came an even bigger one. Ex Cowboy Julius Jones, now the Duckett move made sense. The Seahawks need that 254 pound frame to bust into the endzone. This tandum could actually work very well together. Something that I will look forward to seeing.

Now a very depressing topic, the loss of kicker Josh Brown. Most Seahawk fans were in shock after hearing Brown left the Seahawks. If that wasn't shocking enough, the team that got Brown? The St. Louis Rams. I know I will be sick to my stomach seeing our franchise kicker in that uniform. But the even stranger part was who we got to replace him with. Olindo Mare, wow. This was a huge step down for the Seahawks kicking game and it will hurt down the stretch. Something that is very tough to swallow if you are a Seattle fan.

Those are just a few of the moves that I wanted to get out in the open. I hope you enjoyed reading my first blog, there will be plenty more to come.
