Celtics Pull Out a Close One, Perkins comes up big
The Boston Celtics went up 3-2 in their series with Detroit with a big win at home on Wednesday night. To me this means that the Celtics have basically clinched this series, because I dont think that Detroit can win 2 in a row against the Boston Three Party. In all honesty, I was surprised that this series has been this good so far, but it feels like Boston this year in the playoffs is only doing just barely enough to get by each round, and this round has been no exception. Tonights hero was Kendrick Perkins, who put up 12 points and 13 rebounds in the first half, including 3 big boards in a run to end the half. Game 6 will be played in Detroit and I feel that the Pistons may win this one, but do not be surprised if the Celtics come out strong and slam the door on the Pistons hopes of returning to the NBA finals.
